Alica recently graduated with her MFA in Writing for the Screen & Stage at Northwestern University. 

Alica's original short play, sleepover, was chosen as a winner of Theater Masters' 2022 Take Ten Playwriting Competition.
sleepover received a workshop reading via Zoom on May 19th. It will be published by Concord Theatricals as part of their Take Ten Collection later this year.

Alica was one of five writers selected to take part in Refracted Theatre Company's inaugural Refraction Playwriting Lab.
Her new play, Grown, will premiere with the other Lab members' work at a showcase in Chicago on December 4th, 2022.

Alica's original play, WOO GIRLS!, had its first production at the Factory Theatre in Rogers Park, Chicago in August.
